Haslett High School students from Mrs. Lofton's and Ms. Omillian's classes visited the Capitol Building in Lansing. They learned about the history of the state capitol and the upkeep required for the building. The students met with House Representative, Rep. Alabsas Farhat, who invited them onto the House floor to experience what it is like to be in the Michigan House of Representatives. The students also sat in on the start of the Senate session and were included in the Senate roll call.
