Every year, Haslett first graders work hard on writing their numbers by creating number scrolls as part of our Everyday Mathematics curriculum. Recently, first grader Edison Robinson accomplished something incredible - he reached the number 5000 on his number scroll! Edison set a goal for himself to write all of his numbers to 5000, and with lots of hard work at school and at home, he did it! Edison earned a special pizza lunch with his teacher Mrs. Barrett and two friends. Way to go, Edison!
