Haslett Middle School eighth-graders Ela Emden (1st place), Scarlett Eberhardt (2nd), and Mikyla Julian (3rd) were recognized by Farm Bureau Insurance for their essays in a statewide contest on the topic of "My Michigan Hero." Each school's winners move on to compete at the state level. Congratulations Ela, Scarlett, and Mikyla!
