Students Study Rock Formations

Students in Earth Science classes at Haslett High School went on a field trip to Grand Ledge on October 25.  They hiked at Fitzgerald Park and Oak Park to learn about rock outcrops and various types of formations, and gathered data to determine if there was a pattern to the fractures in the rocks.  This field experience aligned well with the first semester geology focus of Earth Science.
