Students from Haslett High School participated in the Student Technology Showcase at the Capitol on Wednesday, December 5. The students shared their experiences about taking online courses offered through Michigan Virtual as part of their daily high school schedule. Haslett High School Library Media Specialist Rebecca Kipp, who serves at the mentor for students enrolled in online courses at the high school, attended the event as well. The Student Technology Showcase is held in the Michigan State Capitol Building to allow lawmakers, business leaders and other citizens see first-hand how technology is used in classrooms across Michigan. The event was sponsored by the AT&T Foundation and the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL).
