I am Mrs. Briggs and I have had the honor of teaching middle schoolers in Haslett for the last 18 years, with 17 of those years in my favorite subject, Language Arts. 

Language Arts will have us exploring the areas of reading, writing, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, listening, speaking, viewing, and most importantly - thinking! Through our Language Arts literature anthology of short fiction, informational text, drama, poetry, and novels, you will expand the literacy skills that will help you succeed in school and in your life beyond the classroom.
