Degrees and Certifications:
Adam Boyce received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education and his Master of Music in Music Education from Michigan State University after growing up in the Haslett Choir program and being mentored by Mr. Wangeman. Mr. Boyce began his teaching career with Hartland Consolidated Schools in the spring of 2005 and later continued his career as the Director of Choirs and Drama Club Director at Williamston Community Schools in the fall of 2008. His choirs have consistently received First Division ratings at District and State Choral Festivals. Soloists and Ensembles, directed by Mr. Boyce, have also consistently received First Division ratings at District and State Solo and Ensemble Festivals. Under his direction, Williamston Madrigals was selected as the demonstration choir for Dr. David Brunner at the Michigan Music Conference in 2010. Since arriving in Haslett, Select Men's Ensemble performed at Michigan Youth Arts Festival in 2014, Select Chorale in 2014 and 2015, and Chorale was selected as 1 of 2 "Most Outstanding" choirs in the state of Michigan and featured in the MYAF Gala Concert in 2018. Mr. Boyce has been involved in musical theatre as a performer and a director for over 20 years. He and his wife Larissa currently reside in Williamston with their four wonderful children: Kaiden, Trevin, Elliana, and Skyler.
