Welcome Families!

I am Mrs. Waters, and I am the school social worker/counselor at Ralya. I received my bachelor’s degree in social work with interdisciplinary studies in human behavior and social services as well as leadership of organizations. Additionally, I received my master’s degree in clinical social work from Michigan State University, GO GREEN!

In my free time I love spending time with my wife and kids, traveling, DIY home renovations, and cleaning and organizing!

I have the best job in the whole school! I get to help your student with their social-emotional learning. I am a safe person in the school that your student can talk to. We will often discuss feelings, problem solving, how to make and keep friends, how to learn from mistakes, and how to learn and succeed in school (just to name a few!) I am a great resource if you need connections with anything within the school or the community. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you need anything!
