Welcome back to a new school year!  I am very excited to be teaching your student this year!  A little about myself. I have been teaching for fifteen and a half years!  This year I will be teaching 6th grade World Geography! I have 4 boys; Vince - 13, Dominic - 10, Alex - 6, and Tony - 6.  My kids are going into 7th grade, 4th grade, and 1st grade.  My husband and I had our 15th  wedding anniversary this year as well.  I graduated from Grand Valley with my Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education, with Social Studies as my Major.  I have also received my Masters in the Art of Teaching from Olivet College.  I grew up in Traverse City, MI and still love spending a lot of my summer up north.  I am looking forward to a brand new year of learning with all of the students.  If, at some point, you would like to contact me, please feel free to either call the school or email me at santinac@haslett.k12.mi.us.  I will do my very best to get back to you as soon as possible.  This year I have 5th hour prep, so if I don't respond in the morning, that is why.  I hope you all have a great start to the school year!
