Greetings Haslett students and families!  I am very excited about beginning my 18th year of teaching as a new member of the Haslett High School community.  I graduated with a degree from Hope College in Biology and Psychology. I chased my dreams south to obtain a Master’s degree in Marine Biology and play with the sea turtles.  This is where I started my teaching career by taking students on excursions into the Everglades. I then moved into the classroom to teach Marine Science and AP Environmental Science.  

Over the course of my teaching career, I have taught in a variety of settings and a huge range of science topics! This year I will be teaching Biology and Physical Science. I love exploring the outdoors with my son and teaching students about the world that surrounds them.  I am looking forward to a terrific year!
