Fall 2022 

Hello, Ralya Readers!

I’m Mrs. Garmon, and I’m your Ralya librarian! I have the best job in the world because I get to be surrounded by books all day, every day–and I get to share my love of reading with all of you! 

Before I was a librarian, I was an English teacher at Okemos High School, where I taught creative writing, poetry, grammar, and literature. I also spent a couple of years as a stay-at-home mom. My husband and I have two children who are now in 6th grade and 3rd grade, and they attend Haslett Middle School and–you guessed it!–Ralya. 

We have many new books in the library this fall, and your old favorites are here as well. If you have a book in mind that you would like to see added to our collection, please look for the Book Suggestions clipboard at the check-out desk and write down the title.
