• VIRTUAL LEARNING SCHEDULE

       

      8:15-8:30 Morning Meeting (LIVE)

      This is a LIVE meeting. We will be sharing as a class and previewing the day's agenda.

      8:30-9:30 Creative Arts

      9:30-10:45 Math

      This will consist of a LIVE meeting from 9:30-9:50, to teach the lesson for that day. Following, from 9:50-10:45, there will be five, eleven minute small group sessions. While students wait for their live small group to begin, they will have a list of off screen activities to work on. 

      10:45-12:00 Reading

      This will consist of a LIVE meeting from 10:45-11:00 to teach/review the important skills for the week. Following, from 11-11:30, there will be three, ten minute small group sessions. While students wait for their live small group to begin, they will have a list of activities on/off screen to work on. Finally, from 11:30-12, there will be a prerecorded read aloud for students to listen to.

      12:00-12:50 LUNCH BREAK

      12:50-1:30 Writing

      This will consists of a LIVE meeting from 12:50-1:05 to teach/review the lesson. Following, from 1:05-1:30, students will work on the assigned activity.

      1:30-2:30 Social Studies/Science

      This block will be two, prerecorded lessons - one taught by Mrs. Pentilla (science) and one social studies lesson taught by a fifth grade teacher.  These may be 30 minutes or less, and students may use any leftover time to complete assignments from either subject.

      2:30-3:04 Independent Work Time/Office Hours for Ms. Maxwell

      Students will use this time to complete any assigned work or practice from any subject. Students may also have interventions at this time that would be scheduled by another teacher. This is also a time where students may request individual help from Ms. Maxwell or ask any questions they may have.
