Murphy Elementary School

It is my desire to empower students in their own learning. Think of students as a pilot of their own learning plane. Students will take more ownership of flying their own plane because they will know the destination of their learning (learning goals). Students will feel motivated to engage, learn and be their best. Our classroom community will enable students to feel comfortable to ask for help along the way as they try to reach their destination. Students will learn that they are ALL capable of doing amazing things.

It is my goal to create a classroom where all students feel safe, welcomed and loved. We will build this type of environment by keeping an open line of communication, implementing positive behavior expectations, acknowledging each other for our unique abilities, celebrating accomplishments, building a foundation of kindness, collaboration and working together as a family.
