Grief and loss can be experienced by anyone, but it can be particularly confusing when children are faced with this intense emotion. Everyone handles grief in a different way and for children they can experience it on many different levels with each stage of development they reach in life. Here are few resources to help you on your journey as you try to help your child(ren) and yourself cope with the loss of a loved. The resources include how to talk with your child about death, how to talk to someone who has lost a loved one, developmentally appropriate expectations of grief and understanding of death as well as etiquette for attending a funeral with children.
