  • Be Nice

Haslett Middle School students are encouraged by their peers in Be Nice, Student Council, and Builders Club to make a commitment to take action on our school wide Be Nice initiative. They are encouraged to be the "I" in Be Nice by taking action and reaching out. If a student notices someone who might need support, they can INVITE themselves to check in with that person. If a student notices that they are personally struggling, they can INVITE themselves to open up to someone they trust. This bulletin board serves as a reminder. They can see themselves as the "I" in NICE in the mirror.

  • HMS Food Drive

Students at HMS have been collecting non-perishable food items in their Viking Time classes for our annual food drive. The food drive supports local families in need during the holiday season by providing food for both Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Our PALS had the opportunity to deliver all of our collected food items and deliver it to our local food pantry at Haslett Community Church.
