Welcome to fifth grade!

My name is Joy Detweiler and I am a fifth-grade teacher at Murphy Elementary. I am a graduate of Michigan State University. Go Green! At MSU, I majored in Elementary Education and minored in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages). I am originally from Pennsylvania. I moved to Michigan for school and then stayed because I love the cold weather! In my free time, I like to go jogging. You may see me around Haslett on the trails!
