Mrs. Carpenter is in her 10th year of teaching and is the associate director of bands for Haslett Public Schools.  Prior to teaching in Haslett, Mrs. Carpenter taught band and choir in Clarksville, Tennessee.  Mrs. Carpenter earned her Bachelor's of Music Education and Master's of Instruction and Curriculum from Central Michigan University.  Mrs. Carpenter is married to her husband, Randy, and together they have two kids.  Leo is four years old and Isla is one year old.  Mrs. Carpenter also has a dog and a cat at home.  When not teaching music, she likes to spend time playing piano and playing with her children.
