Hello! My name is Katina Hessinger, and I will be your child's teacher this year!  This will be my second year teaching at Rayla!  Before coming to Ralya, my family and I were living in Arizona, where I taught for nine years.

Here's a little bit about me! I grew up in Michigan, where I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University. After moving to Arizona, I received my Master's of Gifted Education from Arizona State University. I have two children, ages seven and nine. My husband and I love to spend our time outdoors with our kids biking, hiking, and exploring. I have a big family (5 siblings!) so we love big family get-togethers! I love working closely with families to provide the best all-around educational experience for children. I can't wait to meet our new learners, and I look forward to starting our second grade journey together!
