  • Ralya Mileage Club Sign up to volunteer!

Mileage Club takes place April 11—May 27. Each child will earn a Toe Token for every 5 miles they walk/run. Students completing 20 miles earn a water bottle. This is a free program and most students participate for at least a portion of the time although they are not obligated to do so. It is imperative that you register your student at www.sparrowmilesclub.com

Volunteers will be needed during the lunch recess outside on the Ralya track from 10:30 - 12:30 pm. In addition, we have two Family Night Mileage Clubs, April 29 and May 13, from 6 - 7 pm.

  • Ralya Field Days

    Dear Parents,

The time is already upon us to begin thinking about Field Day.  As you may already know, we hold a separate field day for each grade level.

Second grade field day will be on Fri. May 27th
Third grade on Tues. May 31st
Fourth grade on Fri. June 3rd
Fifth grade on Mon. June 6th

All field days will run from approximately 8:30 until noon. In case of rain, a makeup day will be planned for Tuesday, June 7th.

We are working hard to plan a morning full of fun, active events for all.  There will be a mix of age-appropriate recreational, skill, relay, and competitive events.  Our goal is to provide events that will encourage students to develop a love of physical activity so that they can continue with a healthy and active lifestyle.

Several parents are serving as volunteer coordinators and could use your help in ensuring these events are fun days for everyone.  In order for these mornings to be successful, we need involved parents.  Please consider spending some time helping on any of the field day mornings you are available.  While most parents choose to help on the day of their child’s event, some may prefer to help with another grade level’s event.  If you can volunteer any of the mornings, please fill out this sign-up google form!

    Thank you very much!!

Mr. Blattert  Phys. Ed. at Ralya
Mr. Batten   Phys. Ed. at Murphy

  • Volunteer for Haslett Public Schools

There are many ways in which you can make a difference in the lives of our students. Volunteer opportunities exist in the classrooms, working directly with teachers and students, chaperoning field trips, assisting at recess or at lunchtime, or helping out at a PTO function, booster activity, or extracurricular event. We love our volunteers at Ralya!

  • Need a tutor?

As the end of the school year approaches, it is time to think about summer activities. Keeping your child on track in Reading and Math will help him/her stay on track and be prepared for school in the fall. The Ralya Office has a list of individuals from the District who are on a Summer Tutor List. You will need to make your own arrangements with the tutors for time, place, materials, and cost of tutoring.
