Competitive Cheer Team Excels! |

Congratulations to the Haslett Varsity Competitive Cheer Team for winning the CAAC Gold Division League Championship! This is the first time in school history the team has won the league championship, and the second year in a row the team has qualified for the regionals. They are also an Academic All-State Honorable Mention team three years in a row, with a team GPA this year of 3.106. Great job! |

HHS Students Visit Art Institute of Chicago |

Haslett High School art students took advantage of their day at The Art Institute of Chicago to further their appreciation of art. Every spring the art department takes a trip to Chicago to expose students to the fabulous collection of artworks the museum features. |

Swim Team Wins Division Championship! |

Congratulations to the Haslett Boys Swim Team for winning the CAAC Gold/White Division Championship! The Vikings finished the season 10-0, only the second time in Haslett history that the team has gone undefeated. The boys also won the Haslett Invitational - the first time since 1992. This is the third straight CAAC Gold/White Division title for the team! |

Bands Perform in District Festival |

Congratulations to the Haslett High School Bands for a successful day at the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association District Festival in Charlotte. Both bands, Symphonic and Wind Ensemble received straight 1's - the highest rating possible - at last weekend's festival! |

Ralya Participates in Special Olympics |
|  | On Friday, February 26, the Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) classroom from Ralya Elementary School participated in the YAP (Young Athletes Program) event held at Michigan State University. This event coincides with the Special Olympics Basketball tournament.
The students participated in activities involving different sports including basketball, hockey, soccer, volleyball, cup stacking, bowling and an obstacle course. The event was run by the Area 8 Special Olympics staff. The students and staff from the Ralya ASD classroom had a great time! |
